Thulir Foundation works across six interconnected areas — each addressing a root cause of poverty and inequality in Krishnagiri district.
Our objective is to create awareness among women regarding their role and significance in the economic growth of society, their right to attain holistic empowerment in socio-economic spheres, and women's development programs — specifically by providing training to their associations. We raise awareness concerning Women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), small savings, credit management, women's cooperatives, and healthcare services for women and children.
In collaboration with both State and Central governments, we strive to promote the interests and holistic well-being of all sections of society that are socially, educationally, and economically disadvantaged. We serve as a bridge between government schemes and the communities that need them most — ensuring awareness, access, and effective utilization of welfare programs.
We provide support services to the elderly and persons with disabilities — including children with disabilities — through residential training and rehabilitation facilities. Our programs focus on restoring dignity, building independence, and reintegrating individuals into society. We offer structured care that combines therapeutic support, skill development, and community reintegration.
To foster sustainable agricultural growth within this region and across the nation, we promote the production, marketing, and distribution of organic farming products and bio-agricultural inputs. We support farmers in Krishnagiri district to transition from chemical-intensive farming to sustainable organic practices — improving soil health, reducing costs, and enhancing market value of their produce.
Our mission is to assist unemployed youth in every possible way to become self-sufficient and self-reliant. We achieve this by providing job-oriented education, vocational training, medical and research training, as well as Entrepreneurship Training and Development Programs designed to encourage entrepreneurial ventures. We partner with industry and government to ensure trained youth are job-ready and entrepreneurship-capable.
Healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Thulir Foundation organizes free medical camps, health awareness drives, and preventive healthcare programs across rural villages in Krishnagiri district. We focus especially on maternal and child health, nutrition, and sanitation. Our community development arm also works on infrastructure improvement, clean water access, and environmental sustainability.
